DESCRIPTION:St. Michael’s Academy (SMA) is excited to announce that on Tuesday\, May 7\, 2019\, we will participate alongside over 100 other non-profit organizations in a 24-hour online giving event called Give Local Piedmont. This event helps to showcase all the wonderful non-profits in our area and offers donation matching of $100\,000.00 and cash prizes. \nWhy Participate? Every dollar donated from midnight to midnight on May 7th will be increased with additional “bonus” dollars generously provided by PATH Foundation (http://pathforyou.org). In addition\, nonprofits may qualify for Prizes\, further increasing their funding from the day. Each donation of $10 or more qualifies St. Michael’s Academy to receive prize entries. This means that your donation dollars stretch further and have a greater impact on the students at SMA! \nHow do I give? On Tuesday\, May 7th go to https://www.givelocalpiedmont.org/sma\nwhere you can choose the amount you want to donate from $10 on up. Pre-scheduled donations may be made in advance. All donations are tax deductible! Checks are also accepted but must be made out to: Northern Virginia Piedmont Community with St. Michael’s Academy written in the memo line and dropped off to the school no later than 4:00pm on Tuesday\, May 7th.

SUMMARY:Fine Arts Festival - Vint Hill Campus
DESCRIPTION:St. Michael’s Academy will be holding their annual Fine Arts Festival on Friday\, May 3rd from 6:00-7:00pm.   We will be showcasing our dance and martial arts programs with an art exhibit including work from each child.  This year\, all elementary students are invited to participate in a singing performance for the event.  This performance will last for about 25 minutes after the dance and martial arts segment and includes a song they learned in their Spanish class and some of our favorite praise and worship music.  This will be a lovely production that our students have practiced for the last few weeks\, and we encourage everyone to come out and support our children.  Students who attend are asked to come dressed in their Sunday best with bright spring colors:  blue\, pink\, yellow\, purple\, green if possible. Students involved in dance or martial arts will receive specific instructions to prepare for the Fine Arts Festival.
