Cora Girard

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I receive help.  My heart rejoices, and I give thanks to Him with my song. - Psalm 28:7  

First and foremost, Mrs. Girard is a Christian and feels called by God to teach.  She has a Bacheloriate degree in Music Education from Florida State University and was certified to teach K-12 by the State of Florida.   In the past 48 years she has taught private studio music lessons, taught public school music, private school music, homeschooled her two sons and taught many other courses and work shops to both children and adults.  She loves teaching and loves her students.

Mrs. Girard has been married to her husband Greg for 42 years now and have moved many places as they served our Lord and he served in the United States Air Force.  They have 2 sons, 6 grandchildren and two dogs.    (One dog loves to be read to as a therapy dog.) Mrs. Girard also enjoys hiking, gardening, sewing and of course music.
