Alison Jordan

Bible verse ~ Psalms 28: 7-8 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.

Ms. Alison is excited to be entering her 5th year teaching at St. Michael's Academy! She has had experience working in a Montessori setting for 10 years, working with children in the healthcare field for 6 years, teaching Bible school, and working as a nanny for many years. Ms. Alison has always felt that teaching young children has been God's calling on her life, and it so blessed to be living out that calling at St. Michael's!

Ms. Alison moved to Virginia with her youngest son Andrew, from Chicago in 2012. Andrew is a senior in high school, and looking forward to graduation at the end of the school year. Her oldest son, Max currently lives in Nebraska after attending UNL. Ms. Alison enjoys fitness, cooking, reading, singing, and serving as a personal fitness/health coach in her free time.

Ms. Alison and Andrew are members of Fairfax Community Church, where they participate in small groups and serve in their Local Engagement ministry.
