Ann Cooper
"Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9
Mrs. Cooper is excited to join the St. Michael's team! She is originally from Connecticut and has lived in Virginia for the past 5 years. She graduated from Salve Regina University in Rhode Island with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and Special Education. After graduating she moved across the country to Arizona to teach at a Catholic school on the Navajo Reservation teaching 4th and 5th grade. Mrs. Cooper moved to Virginia shortly after teaching in Arizona and taught 4th and 1st grade in Alexandria for Fairfax County. She recently got married and she and her husband, David bought a house in Broad Run a little less than a year ago. In her spare time, she loves to color, spend time with family and friends, travel, and enjoy the outdoors especially in Autumn when the leaves start to change. She looks forward to working with a new grade level and adding on to her experience by encouraging and helping students grow and develop kind and caring personalities.
