Heather Rice
“May the God who gives you encouragement and endurance give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had so with that one mind and one voice you may glorify God and the father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:5-6
Heather has experience teaching in both public and private Christian schools. She has taught pre-k for 10 years and substituted in the school system. She has a degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from George Mason University. She was previously employed as an in-home counselor with children, as well as with adults with mental health disabilities. She has two children and lives in the heart of Warrenton. She has a theatre background and is looking forward to integrating a theatre program at St. Michael’s as an extracurricular activity. She enjoys getting to know her students and their different learning needs. She enjoys crafts, practicing mindfulness, coloring, going to the beach and making memories with her family.
