Susan Kent

Susan Kent is pleased to join St. Michael’s staff this year as a Pre-K Assistant .   She was born and grew up in Maryland.  She attended Messiah College in Pennsylvania where she earned a degree in Behavioral Science.  Shortly after graduating from college, she was married to her husband and they were blessed with five children.  She and her family moved to Virginia in the spring of 1999.   Soon after the birth of her third child, she became a full time stay at home mom and began homeschooling her oldest.  In the Lord’s strength she and her husband homeschooled their children through high school.  Now that her children are grown, she is slowly stepping back into working outside the home and is thrilled to be working with young children again.   She enjoys watching the little ones learn and grow and is thankful for this opportunity to serve as an assistant at St. Michaels Academy.
